ENRICH in LAC Member, Coractium, a dedicated proponent of scientific advancement, has taken on the responsibility of nurturing young scientific talent through their latest initiative, “Formando Jovens Cientistas nas redes públicas” (Educating Young Scientists in Public Networks). This pioneering programme aims to cultivate a passion for science among students in schools, with a crowdfunding campaign set to run for the next 26 days.
The centrepiece of this initiative is the “Jovens Cientistas” (Young Scientists) programme, an immersive training programme designed to unlock the potential of students aged between 6 and 18 years old. Through online materials, teacher training guides, and classroom kits, Coractium empowers educators to impart scientific knowledge and curiosity to their students. Spanning over two months, the programme encompasses five modules: an introduction to science, an exploration of scientific fields, profiles of influential scientists, an introduction to the scientific method, and hands-on creative prototyping activities.
To ensure the success of this ambitious endeavour, Coractium has launched a crowdfunding campaign that will run for the next 30 days. This campaign presents a unique opportunity for individuals and organisations passionate about scientific education to contribute and support the initiative.
By donating, you can play a pivotal role in inspiring and shaping the next generation of scientific luminaries, envisioning a world where the names Marie Skłodowska-Curie, Niels Bohr, Nikola Tesla, and Rachel Carson are revered.
Together, let’s ignite the scientific curiosity of our future innovators and make a lasting impact.
